Goal of the Project:
The Goal of this project is to analysis a brand comprehensively and develop a solution for a brand. To understand their competitors, understand the disadvantages and advantages of the brand, to create a unique and best solution for the brand.
What is this Project about ?
This project was a project we did in Core course, where we were tasked with applying business strategies we learned in class to develop a new service for an existing brand. Our team chose Burberry, a popular luxury brand known for its high reputation, high-quality products, and diverse product lines.
For our project, we proposed a personalization service for customers. This service would allow customers to select their preferred Burberry trench coat, to choose a classic Burberry pattern for coat's inside, and customize the coat with personalized letters. Also, customers who agree to be an example for our advertising campaigns would receive promotional discounts for their trend coat.
As a group project, we practiced a lot of collaboration, to overcome any challenges and clear communication during the process. I also gained valuable experience in marketing and business strategy, learning how to conduct thorough research before developing ideas, and how to effectively analyze a brand, its competitors, market trends, and target audiences to make the best and most applicable idea for brands.
Process:
Marketing Plan: We developed a marketing plan for our client, Burberry. The promotion discount increase the brand loyalty of customer and the personalize services enhance constomer’s shopping experience with Burberry.
Brand Analysis and Strategic Insights: Well analysis and insights from the analysis.
Research: comperhensive research, not just understand the brand but also understand their competitors, situations, and consumer needs.
Outcomes
Comprehensive analysis and business proposal: Well analysis on Burberry’s marketing, competitor, advantage, disadvantages, consumer needs and market trends.
Marketing Strategy: Providing a good recommendation for Burberry, a new and attractive business plan.
